مقدمه: دیابت بارداری یکی از شایع‌ترین اختلالات پزشکی در دوران حاملگی است که می‌تواند منجر به عوارض جدی و افزایش مرگ‌ومیر مادر و جنین شود. رفتارهای خودمراقبتی نقش کلیدی در کنترل مؤثر دیابت دارند و سواد سلامت به‌عنوان یکی از مهم‌ترین عوامل تعیین‌کننده سلامت، می‌تواند توانایی افراد را در درک و مدیریت وضعیت سلامتی خود تقویت کند. هدف از مطالعه حاضر بررسی ارتباط بین سواد سلامت و میزان انجام رفتارهای خودمراقبتی در زنان مبتلا به دیابت بارداری بود.
روش کار: این مطالعه توصیفی - تحلیلی در بیمارستان‌های دولتی منتخب در کرج، طی بازه زمانی آبان تا بهمن 1401، بر روی 125 زن باردار مبتلا به دیابت بارداری انجام شد. نمونه گیری به روش در دسترس صورت گرفت و داده ها با استفاده از پرسشنامه های سنجش سواد سلامت و رفتارهای خودمراقبتی جمع آوری شد. تحلیل داده ها با بهره گیری از نرم افزار SPSS نسخه 26 و با استفاده از آزمونهای آماری توصیفی و استنباطی انجام گرفت.
یافته‌ها: میانگین نمره سواد سلامت شرکت‌کنندگان 82.80 ± 12.30 بود که در سطح کافی قرار داشت. همچنین میانگین کل نمره رفتارهای خودمراقبتی برابر با79/0 ± 5.07± بوده و در دسته بندی سطح قوی قرار داشت. نتایج تحلیل آماری نشان داد که بین سواد سلامت و رفتارهای خودمراقبتی ارتباط مثبت و معناداری وجود دارد.
نتیجه‌گیری: باتوجه‌به یافته‌های مطالعه مبنی بر وجود رابطه مثبت و معنادار میان سواد سلامت و انجام رفتارهای خودمراقبتی در زنان باردار مبتلا به دیابت بارداری، طراحی و ارائه برنامه‌های آموزشی هدفمند به‌منظور ارتقای سطح سواد سلامت این گروه از مادران، امری ضروری است. چنین اقداماتی می‌تواند به بهبود رفتارهای خودمراقبتی و در نتیجه کنترل بهتر دیابت بارداری و کاهش عوارض مرتبط کمک کند.
