مقدمه: مالتیپل اسکلروزیس یک بیماری رایج خودایمنی است که با توجه به علائم گسترده و ناتوانکنندهای که به همراه دارد، تأثیرات عمیقی بر کیفیت زندگی بیماران میگذارد و میتواند استقلال فرد را تهدید کنند. هدف از پژوهش حاضر بررسی اثربخشی نرم افزار توانبخشی کاپیتان لاگ بر کیفیت زندگی بیماران مبتلا به اماس شهر شیراز بود.
مواد و روشها: این پژوهش از نوع نیمهآزمایشی با طرح پیشآزمون- پسآزمون بود. جامعه آماری شامل تمامی بیماران مبتلا به مالتیپل اسکلروزیس ساکن شهر شیراز در زمستان 1403 بود که برای دریافت مشاوره به انجمن اماس شیراز مراجعه کرده بودند، که از بین آنها، 32 نفر با روش نمونهگیری در دسترس انتخاب شدند و به طور تصادفی در دو گروه 16 نفری با عنوان گروههای آزمایش و گواه قرار گرفتند. بیماران گروه مداخله، طی 12 جلسه بصورت دو جلسه در هفته و به مدت 60 دقیقه تحت مداخله توانبخشی نرامافزار رایانهای کاپیتان لاگ قرار گرفتند. ابزار پژوهش شامل پرسشنامه استاندارد کیفیت زندگی بیماران مبتلا به اماس (MSIS-29) و نرمافزار کاپیتان لاگ بود.
یافتهها: تحلیل دادهها با استفاده از آزمون تی تست ستقل نشان داد که بین میانگین پس آزمون گروه آزمایش و گواه تفاوت معنیداری وجود داشت (P<0/01) که این امر حاکی از اثربخشی برنامه توانبخشی کاپیتان لاگ بر کیفیت زندگی بیماران مبتلا به اماس است.
نتیجهگیری: طبق یافتههای پژوهش، اثربخشی توانبخشی شناختی (با استفاده از برنامه کاپیتان لاگ) میتواند نقش مهمی در کیفیت زندگی بیماران دچار اختلال اماس ایفا کند.
