fa بررسی سطح آگاهی دندانپزشکان عمومی شهر کرج از زمان مناسب درمان‌های ارتودنسی Evaluation of Knowledge Level of General Dentists in Karaj City about Proper Timing of Orthodontics تخصصي Special پژوهشي Research زمینه و هدف: آگاهی از زمان صحیح درمان های ارتودنسی به خصوص برای دندانپزشکان عمومی که اولین حلقه از زنجیره‌ درمانی بیماران هستند، امری ضروری است. چرا که برای رسیدن به نتیجه مطلوب و صرفه جویی در زمان و هزینه‌ بیماران، درمان باید در زمان مناسب انجام گردد. این مطالعه با هدف بررسی میزان آگاهی دندانپزشکان عمومی شهر کرج از زمان های مناسب ارتودنسی انجام شد. مواد و روش‌ها: در این مطالعه توصیفی- تحلیلی مقطعی، اطلاعات مورد نیاز از طریق توزیع تصادفی پرسشنامه آنلاین مشتمل بر 24 سوال از 384 دندانپزشک عمومی جمع آوری شد. سوالات به چهار دوره‌ دندانی شیری، اوایل دوره‌ مختلط، اواخر دوره‌ مختلط و دائمی تقسیم بندی گردید. نمرات اطلاعات به دست آمده بر حسب جنس، سن، دانشگاه محل تحصیل، مدت زمان فراغت از تحصیل، محل اشتغال و تعداد شرکت در دوره های بازآموزی با آزمون های آماری کروسکال – والیس و من – ویتنی و با نرم افزار آماری 24SPSS  مورد تجزیه و تحلیل قرار گرفت. یافته‌ها:  میانگین نمره آگاهی دندانپزشکان 23/14 ( از 24 نمره) بود. همچنین آگاهی دندانپزشکان مرد 64/14 بالاتر از زنان 7/13، دندانپزشکان در رده‌ سنی 40 تا 50 ساله با میانگین 67/15، شاغلین در بخش دولتی با میانگین  16، فارغ التحصیلان دانشگاه دولتی تیپ یک با میانگین 79/14، مدت زمان فراغت از تحصیل بین ده تا بیست سال با میانگین  86/15 و شرکت کنندگان در دوره های بازآموزی بالاتر از دو بار با میانگین 59/14 از دیگر رده ها بیشتر و دارای اختلاف معنی دار بود. نتیجه‌گیری: میزان آگاهی دندانپزشکان عمومی متوسط ارزیابی شد و ارتقای سطح دانش آنها امری ضروری می‌باشد.   Introduction: Knowing the correct timing of orthodontic treatment is essential, especially for general dentists, who are the first link in the patient's treatment chain. To achieve desired results and save patient’s time and money, treatment must be done at the right time. The aim of this study was to investigate the knowledge of general dentists in Karaj about the appropriate time for orthodontics in 1399. Methods and materials: In this cross-sectional descriptive analytic study, the required information was collected through random distribution of an online questionnaire consisting of 24 questions from 384 general dentists. The questions were divided into four deciduous dental periods, primary dentition, early mixed dentition, late mixed dentition and permanent dentition. The scores of the obtained information were analyzed by sex, age, university of study, duration of graduation, place of employment and number of participants in retraining courses with Kruskal-Wallis and Mann-Whitney statistical tests using SPSS 24 statistical software to analyze. Results: Average score of dentists knowledge was 14.23 (Out of 24 points). Also, the knowledge of male dentists is 14.64 higher than that of women 13.7. Dentists in the age group of 40 to 50 years with an average (15.67), Public sector employees with average (16), Graduates of Type I State University with an average of (14.79), Graduation period between ten and twenty years with an average of (15.86), And participants in retraining courses more than twice with an average of (14.59) more than other categories which had a significant difference.
