After completing a demographic questionnaire, sixty vaginal swabs were obtained from each participant using individual sterile swabs. DNA extraction was performed according to manufacture CinnaGen kit. The multiplex polymerase chain reaction (M-PCR) was conducted based on specific primers for N. gonorrhoeae and T. gondii.
Results: Our finding indicated the frequency of infection with N. gonorrhoeae and T. gondii was 6.6% and 10%, respectively. No coinfection with N. gonorrhoeae and T. gondii was detected.
