Introduction: Gallery Walk is a team-based, collaborative, and student-centered learning method that involves small groups of students interacting to focus on assignments, playing a central role in the teaching-learning process.
Methods: This study involved 30 undergraduate anesthesiology students from Ahvaz Jundishapur University of Medical Sciences, Iran, in 2023. The intervention group received educational content on nurse anesthetists’ knowledge in the stages of general anesthesia induction using the Gallery Walk method. After the intervention, students completed a satisfaction questionnaire. Data were analyzed using SPSS version 26, and the study was approved by the Ethics Committee of Ahvaz Jundishapur University of Medical Sciences (IR.AJUMS.REC.1401.283). Informed consent was obtained from all participants.
Results: All students reported either good or very good satisfaction, with 10% reporting good and 90% very good. Satisfaction scores ranged from 50 to 75. There was an inverse correlation between satisfaction and age. Higher GPA was associated with lower satisfaction, though not statistically significant (p = 0.602). No significant differences were found in satisfaction between genders (p = 0.83) or between 3rd- and 5th-semester students (p = 0.775).
Conclusion: Students were highly satisfied with the Gallery Walk method, which is effective in large classes. It promotes an interactive, dynamic, and engaging learning environment while enhancing communication skills, time management, and reducing student fatigue.
